The Symons House scheme comprises 351 premium student accommodation bedrooms split between studio and clusters ranging from two to ten bedrooms. Amenity spaces to the lower and ground floor, with private dining and roof terrace to level 8.
Due to access agreements with a nearby neighbour the lower part of the reinforced concrete frame was constructed around the tower crane, the slabs and rooms were then completed post removal. At 22 storeys the frame comprises reinforced concrete flat slabs and shear cores along with cantilevering walking columns to create the distinctive column free cut back at ground floor.
