The redevelopment of two National Gas buildings at their transmission site in Ambergate, Derbyshire. The new Emergency Equipment and Materials store is complete with an internal crane and external wilding area for wildflower planting and bug hotels. The 1970s, two-storey concrete framed Admin building was transformed with a striking exterior matched by a new reception, internal offices, meeting and breakout rooms.

The Ambergate site remains a key operational hub, providing critical maintenance services that ensure the continued reliability and security of the national energy network. The significant site investment symbolises the broader commitment to supporting the government's net zero ambitions and transition towards a hydrogen future.
